DP World Tour Rebrand

Sky Sports 2024

This rebrand features a contour-inspired title sequence, where a fantasy golf course takes shape through 3D contours, constructing fairways, bunkers, and greens.
The course evolves throughout the sequence, reflecting the diverse venues of the tour - from Scotland's rugged links to Dubai's palm-lined deserts and Spain's narrow fairways.
The contours also serve as dynamic screens, displaying graphical elements and footage of the tour's top players.
Concept
Revisiting the contour-inspired title sequence we originally conceptualised and built in-house for the 2019 coverage, we set out to elevate the idea for the new DP World Tour rebrand. This refreshed sequence built on the original idea by incorporating the diverse course styles - links, desert, and more - and significantly enhances production value.

Collaborating with Coffee & TV Studio, we reimagined the visuals, redesigned the contour screen inserts, and spent weeks refining every detail. The result is a modern, dynamic sequence born from a true creative partnership.

Broadcast Suite
We developed a new set of broadcast graphics inspired by the contour concept from the title sequence. These design elements were seamlessly integrated into stings, wipes, housestyle leaderboards, name straps, and scoring graphics, creating a cohesive on-air look.
Studio Set
Building on the set's launch with the PGA Tour rebrand, the space is now also used for DP World Tour tournaments, including major Rolex Series events, bringing a consistent and premium look to coverage of golf's biggest moments.
