This project celebrates the history of The Open Championship through a single graphic line inspired by both the trajectory of a golf shot and a timeline. It connects champions, iconic moments and historic venues, guiding viewers through the championship's story from past to present while creating a simple thread that runs throughout the sequence.
Designed as a system that works across titles, branding, studio, social and digital, the line becomes a flexible graphic device that appears throughout the package in different forms. It can be adapted into different trajectories and compositions, creating a simple but distinctive visual language across the broadcast.
